The Ironbark Robeco Global Developed Enhanced Index Equity Fund (the Fund) is managed by Robeco, who employ a disciplined and systematic investment approach that aims to take advantage of market inefficiencies driven by human behaviour with the aim to deliver attractive risk-adjusted performance for investors.

Robeco’s proprietary portfolio construction algorithm efficiently balances risk, return, and sustainability considerations, investing in companies in developed markets based on a quantitative model. Robeco aims to gain a well-diversified exposure to an integrated multi-factor stock selection model consisting of return factors such as value, quality and momentum.

The Fund seeks to outperform the MSCI World NR (AUD) by 1% p.a. before fees, over rolling 5-year periods, through investment in a diversified selection of equities on a global basis.

Key Risks

Class segregation risk – each Class of the Fund does not constitute a separate and distinct trust. Therefore, there is a risk that unit holders of one Class may be exposed to the liabilities attributable to another Class and, conversely, there is a risk that the assets attributed to a Class may be required to discharge the liabilities attributed to another Class.
Derivatives risk – the Fund may use derivatives as part of their investment strategy or to manage the portfolio. The value of derivatives can be influenced by a number of factors, including movement in the value of the underlying asset, difficulty in liquidating the derivative, or counterparty risk.
Currency risk – the Fund will invest in global securities, which are denominated in foreign currencies that will give rise to foreign currency exposure. This means that the Australian dollar value of these investments will vary depending on changes in the exchange rate.
International investment risk – if the Fund has exposure to international financial products additional risks may apply, including differences between countries relating to accounting, auditing, financial reporting, taxation, government regulation, securities exchanges and transactional procedures and foreign markets may have different levels of liquidity, pricing availability, settlement and clearance procedures.
